Ski-A-Thon Set for Saturday

Another Haiti fundraiser is being planned for Saturday afternoon.

A ski-a-thon will be taking place at the Onion Lake Cross-Country ski trails between Terrace and Kitimat.

From 1 to 4 p.m. the public is encouraged to head out and take advantage of free equipment donations courtesy of All Seasons Source for Sports in Terrace.

Free hot drinks and goodies will be served by Snow Valley Nordic Ski Club members.

Donations and pledges have been made for the event over the past two weeks but more can be made on site.

All money raised will head to the Canadian Red Cross.
