CORRECTION: Mayoral Contest in Port Edward

Port Edward Mayor David MacDonald is being challenged for his job in the November 15th municipal election.

Current Councillor Christine MacKenzie is running against the incumbent for the position of mayor in Port Edward.

Meanwhile, six candidates were nominated for seats as Port Edward councillors: Knut Bjorndal, James Brown, Clary Chaisson, John Davenport, Dan Franzen and Murray Kristoff.
